These listings are far from comprehensive but are ongoing and open to accurate additions (or subtractions!) which are welcome via the contact page. Based on two main sources of information, the archive of jazz musician and promoter Ken Ford who died in 2016, and the publication 'Hull Jazz and Jazzmen' compiled and edited by local author Laurie Dex which first appeared in 1991, it is hoped that additional information will continue to be forthcoming.
